CLIMATE
The Charente-Maritime region of France boasts its own unique micro climate. It actually has the second longest hours of sunlight after the Cote d'Azur and frosts are rare. Teeshirts are the norm in October. The 'belle saison' now stretches from the begining of April to the end of October with frequent, sparkling, warm days outside of these months.
June, July and August can be hot with temperatures well into the 30os. May and September are extremely pleasant, generally mid 20's or higher. April and October too are pleasant months enabling you to eat outside and enjoy the fresh air. Since we have been here we have still been sunbathing by the pool at the very end of October!
