La Dominique & La Fleur
Chris, Karen, Danielle (17), and Georgia (11) invite you to spend a wonderful holiday in our beautifully converted barns. You won't be disappointed.
We moved to France in July 04. We spent the first year renovating the barns and opened for business in July 05. We have not looked back since.
Both gites are fully independent and have direct access to the garden and heated pool. Each gite has a private covered patio area with patio furniture and a large stone barbeque.
Each gite sleeps 6 people very comfortably. A cot or additional small child's bed could also be accommodated if necessary.
LA DOMINIQUE
La Dominique has 3 bedrooms. Downstairs there is a double bedroom with ensuite shower room and upstairs there are two twin bedrooms. All bedlinen and towels are provided during your stay.
There is another spacious shower room downstairs, this contains a shower cubicle, sink and toilet.
The open plan living room/kitchen contains everything you would need to make your stay comfortable. We have included a dvd player with a wide selection of dvds. There is also a good selection of books and children's games/puzzles.
The kitchen is fully equipped with cooker, microwave, fridge, coffee maker, kettle, toaster, grill and all the normal crockery and cutlery you are likely to need.
A washing machine, tumble dryer, iron and ironing board are available in our utility room in the courtyard for both gites to share.
La Fleur
La Fleur has two bedrooms and a double sofa bed in the lounge. Both bedrooms are upstairs, one double and one twin. All bedlinen and towels are provided during your stay.
There is a sink and toilet upstairs and downstairs there is a spacious shower room which contains a shower cubicle sink and toilet.
There is a separate kitchen with cooker, fridge, microwave, kettle, coffee maker, toaster, juicer and all the normal crockery and cutlery. A wahshing machine, tumble dryer, iron and ironing board are available in a utility room in the courtyard for both gites to share.
The light and airy lounge/dining room contains a double sofa bed, two easy chairs and a large pine dining table. We have also included a dvd player with a large selection of dvds, books and children's games/puzzles.
POOL AND GARDEN
The gites have direct access to the heated pool and garden. The pool measures approximately 11m x 5.5m.
The pool is heated from the beginning of April to the end of October each year. We try to keep it at a very comfortable 29/30oc which means you are able to swim everyday. The pool has a shallow and deep end and has a gently shelving slope all the way round. It is fitted with a safety alarm which complies with French safety standards.
In the garden you will find a 14ft trampoline (the kids love it), along with swings, badminton and football nets. We have also provided various bat and ball games, skipping ropes and a boule set. There is certainly plenty of room to run around.
